Design of a decentralized study program parallel to design syllabus at FAVU VUT in Brno. All human-designed systems are subject to a grey-hat penetration test, including school systems. Boundary testing makes current meta available: the best strategy to play in such a system while simultaneously visualizing places to repair the system. What is the current meta in graphic design education? What infrastructure of movement in the new space must be built and what is the index currently available for us to move in?”

Title: Electronic Collections of Solved Problems in Physics - Alternating current Author: Michala Pfefrčková Department: Department of Physics Education Supervisor: RNDr. Zdeňka Koupilová, Ph.D. Supervisor's e-mail address: zdenka.koupilova@mff.cuni.cz The main aim of this diploma thesis was to prepare a set of specialized tasks in Physics. These tasks are supposed to contain comprising structured hints leading to solution of the given examples. The set is implemented in the e-collection posted on http://fyzikalniulohy.cz. This set includes 25 tasks mostly targeted on high schools students. It supplies them with additional tasks for effective study suitable even for university students, starters, as a revision. The other part of the thesis contains a syllabus of alternating current study and the organization of the tasks how to use them to illustrate clearly the particular physical terms. Keywords: alternating current, structured tasks, e-collection, syllabus

Psychological and Epistemological Aspects of Curriculum Design

TITLE: Psychological and Epistemological Aspects of Curriculum Design AUTHOR: Dominik Dvořák DEPARTMENT: Department of Primary Education, Charles University in Prague SUPERVISOR: Prof. PhDr. Vladimíra Spilková, CSc. ABSTRACT: The alarming trends in Czech pupils' achievement in reading, mathematics and science raised the question of quality of the Czech primary and lower secondary school curricula. A conceptual framework for analysis of the intended curriculum as a multi-level document has been devised. A review of available methods for curricular analysis is presented. The mixed method research design has been used to study the actual Czech curricular framework. Preliminary exploration of quantitative data on Czech pupils' success rates in individual items of TIMSS and PISA studies identified the "suspect" curriculum areas for the subsequent qualitative analysis. These areas (e.g. fractions in mathematics, reading literacy in language arts) were compared in past and present Czech curricula/syllabi. The international benchmarking method was used to compare Czech, English, Finnish, and U. S. curricula. The results revealed the idiosyncrasies that remain relatively stable feature of the Czech curricula. The neo-institutionalism may provide the theoretical explanation of the results of the analysis. ETHICS AS A PART OF EDUCATION OF SOCIAL WORK
KŇOURKOVÁ RŮNOVÁ, Jitka
The theoretical part is based on the knowledge obtained from book, magazine and electronic resources and all elements related to ethics are described here: ethic questions and standards, conflicts, arguments, communication etc. The theoretical part further contains educational procedures at universities. The crucial element in the presented Bachelor?s Thesis are principles and standards of the Association of Educators in Social Work (hereinafter referred to as the Association). Within the purposes of the practical part there were addressed schools being members of the Association of Educators in Social Work and these schools were asked for providing a syllabus of the subject dealing with ethics taught at the relevant school. Information obtained based on the request, supported by searching the official web pages of the schools, were subject to content analysis and comparison methods. From the conclusion of the practical part of the Bachelor?s Thesis it results that always certain information that could be important or essential for students is missing in the syllabi of ethic subjects of the addressed and compared universities. Providing complex and comprehensive information by the school students obtain an overview of requirements for the subject graduation. The thesis is a complex breakthrough into the problem of teaching ethics within the training of social employees.
English for Tourism
JELÍNKOVÁ, Renata
The thesis is focused on ESP, English for Specific Purposes, namely English for tourism. Another specific feature is that it focuses on one particular student and the preparation of an individual course for him. In this thesis the student's needs are analyzed, the course syllabus is developed and teaching materials are prepared. After the study of the theoretical literature, the needs of the particular student are analyzed in terms of language needs, language skills and intercultural competence. The analysis is carried out through a guided interview and synthesized in a case study. A one-semester course syllabus design is the result of the analysis. In accordance with the syllabus, the lesson plans containing specific topic, aim, language skills, language sub-skills and teaching materials are created.
